The Anderson Lake State Forest Campground is located South of Gwinn Michigan on County Road 557. The campground itself consists of 19 rustic camp sites 10 of which can handle trailers up to 40′ in length. Amenities include vaulted toilets, potable water, boat launch, beach (swim at your own risk!) and the Anderson Lake Pathway, which is open to biking, hiking and skiing. The Bass Lake Motorcycle Trail is just a few miles from the campground for those who wish to ride.
Anderson Lake is known to contain Northern Pike, Bass, Sunfish, Crappie and Blue Gill.
